SERTA Arquitectos was founded in 1979 as a technical architectural design practice, evolving into a specialist consultancy covering all phases of a project: from feasibility studies and the design of architectural programmes to site supervision, coordination of planning permissions, management of specialist disciplines and cost control. In 2020, following extensive experience in hospital architecture, SERTA SALUD was established – a team specialising in the refurbishment and extension of medical units within existing hospitals, as well as in the development of new hospital spaces and outpatient centres.
The evolution of healthcare, technological advances and changes in demand for care require healthcare spaces to be constantly adapted. At SERTA SALUD, we tackle these challenges through architectural solutions that combine functionality, space optimisation and a human-centred approach, improving the experience of patients and healthcare professionals even in environments with limited floor space.
