This course focuses on the management and maintenance of medical equipment in hospitals. Participants will learn about equipment planning and design, as well as the classification and inventory of medical equipment. The course will also cover different types of maintenance, such as preventive and operational maintenance, and provide information on equipment inspection and evaluation. In addition, the course includes modules on the installation and maintenance of various types of medical equipment, such as sterilization and disinfection equipment, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters/capnographs, thermometers, electrocardiographs, and anesthesia machines.
Objectives
- Provide an understanding of the principles and planning required for the management and maintenance of medical equipment in hospitals.
