The International Conference aims to bridge the gap between hospital architecture and students. The hospitals themselves will speak to us and give us insight into the philosophy and needs that led to their construction.
This will undoubtedly help us better plan our hospital projects and, above all, allow us to gain insight into the realities necessary for understanding how a hospital operates and is managed. The architecture of a hospital building must be capable of adapting to changes in medicine, be responsive to its needs, and strive to provide an appropriate design solution.
During this conference, we will visit some of Spain’s most iconic hospitals. Their architects will explain their architecture and how they operate.
In addition, this conference offers a unique opportunity for an exchange of ideas among professionals from different countries, each with their own approach and perspective on the various decisions that must be made to develop the most complex building project that exists: the hospital.
